About the Job – PR & Communications Manager

As Synamedia continues the growth of our SaaS products and enters new markets, we are looking for a PR & Communications Manager who can lead and execute our global external communications strategy to manage and amplify our voice to support the business in achieving its growth objectives. In this role, you will work with Sales, Product and Marketing teams across Synamedia to plan and execute all external communications activities, working closely with internal stakeholders and our external PR agency.

This role requires a strong stakeholder management capacity and an excellent copywriting quality and a proven track record in PR and communications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a good understanding of B2B marketing, and a track record of crafting impactful communications.

Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations & Awards
  • Write impactful press releases, thought leadership articles, and media pitches for product launches, partnerships, and company milestones.
  • Research and manage submissions for industry awards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with entertainment trade publications.
  • Manage external public relations agency including direct contact with the press.
  • Oversee crisis communications and reputation management.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage, PR performance, and communication KPIs.
Strategic Social media Management
  • Own and drive the corporate‑wide social media strategy including planning and execution, internal advocacy, and escalation management. Analysis of performance metrics and campaign optimisation.
  • Create compelling content and manage the social media activity for two of our business units, from copy to publication. Including monitoring of industry trends and social engagement.
Brand Voice & Quality Assurance
  • Lead and manage corporate communications guidelines and brand voice ensuring the tone of voice across our business lines achieves a high level of consistency across our outbound communications.
  • Work with the Marketing team to manage corporate positioning and messaging across Synamedia’s business lines.
  • Edit and proof‑read marketing materials to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Partner with marketing to ensure consistent messaging across campaigns, events, and social media.
External Communications
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing communications plans that support our business and marketing objectives delivering measurable campaigns on time, and to a consistently high quality.
  • Create and manage outbound customer communications including newsletters, direct mailers, landing pages and other such communications.
  • Analyse and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications campaigns, using data‑driven insights to optimize future initiatives.
  • Work with the Marketing team to increase the value gained from AI assisted tooling in our Marketing operations.
Internal Communications
  • Support internal communications to engage employees and promote company culture. Work with the Internal Comms team to provide content to be shared in the internal platforms such as Yammer and the internal newsletter.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or media relations, with a focus on the technology or media industry.
  • Proven track record in B2B communications within media or technology sectors.
  • Experience of writing press releases and award submissions, as well as marketing content in a high‑tech industry. Experience in media/video market verticals preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
  • Experience with direct press relations and collaborating with PR agencies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business units in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with stakeholders.
  • Creative storyteller who can make technical products exciting for entertainment professionals.
  • Data‑driven approach with understanding of entertainment industry metrics and KPIs.
