All posts are subject to a process of vetting with references taken up and where the role involves working in Regulated Activity with children, we require a current ECB DBS.**RESPONSIBILITIES:** The purpose of this role within the Kent Cricket Foundation (KCF) is to create and develop a thriving network of community cricket hubs a cross both our ‘Street Cricket’ and ‘Super 1’s’ Hub programmes. The se programmes are fundamental in KCF ’s strategy to deliver accessible and inclusive cricket experiences for everyone in Kent. This is a hand s-on programme development role, managing the outcomes of the Community Hubs, supporting delivery staff, inspiring children their families and developing relationships with local communities. You will also oversee and deploy the Foundations team of external ‘contract’ cricket coaches. More specific duties include:**Street Cricket Clubs:** • Oversee the operational running of 12 Street Clubs across South East London and Kent, ensuring sustainability and growth. • Lead on event management and delivery of competitions, including the annual Street Slam Cup and other showcase tournaments, ensuring high -quality participant experience and smooth logistics. • Report monthly to ‘Chance to Shine ’ on performance against KPI targets, including participant attendance, retention, and progression routes into hardball cricket. • Maintain and enhance club ethos and coaching standards, embedding positive behaviours and safeguarding practices. • Support line -manage ment of internal and external coaching staff, providing rota management, mentoring, and CPD opportunities. • Deliver financial reporting and administration for the Street programme, including budget tracking, expense monitoring, and submission of funder reports. • Contribute to promotional activity, including developing case studies, to raise the profile of Street Cricket within Kent and London. • Provide hands -on coaching support and CPD across Street Cricket clubs to ensure coaches consistently deliver sessions that reflect the programme’s ethos, behaviours and standards.**Disability ‘Super 1’s’ Hubs:** • Manage and coordinate the operational running of 4 Disability Cricket Hubs across Kent, ensuring safe, inclusive, and engaging sessions. • Lead on planning and delivery of disability competitions, festivals, and events, including logistics, safeguarding, and volunteer management. • Deploy and support ‘casual ’ coaching staff, ensuring rota management, high coaching standards, and professional development support. • Deliver financial reporting and administration of the Lord’s Taverners programme, including hub attendance monitoring, funder reporting, and budget management. • Build and maintain positive relationships with schools, local councils, community groups, and the ECB/Lord’s Taverners, promoting disability cricket opportunities across the county. • Provide coaching support and CPD within Super 1s disability hubs to help coaches embed inclusive practice and maintain the ethos and delivery standards of the programme.**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:** **Essential:** • A passion for sport and supporting young people to develop through sport • Ability to plan and organise your own projects to achieve desired outcomes • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail • Strong team player with ability to work in a hybrid office environment • Effective communicator and the ability to engage with people of all levels • Computer literate and effective user of Word, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft programmes • Ability to travel independently between various sites of work & occasionally working unsociable hours.**Desirable:** • Event/project management experience • Staff management and leadership • ECB Core Coach (or equivalent) cricket coaching qualification • Experience working with children and young people in community settings • Knowledge of inclusive practices and disability sport • Experience or knowledge of EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) initiatives and ability to contribute to a culture of inclusivity across programmes.**How to apply:** Please send your CV, along with a short covering statement explaining why you are applying for the role, to Peter Hendey on the following email – Peter.Hendey@kentcricket.co.uk All applications will be acknowledged and we will invite a selected short -list of candidates for a face -to-face interview at our offices in Canterbury.We do not expect applicants to have detailed cricket or sport experience.
