A leading IT company in Birmingham is seeking a Project Accountant to support the finance function during a significant period of change. This hybrid role requires an experienced accountant to implement FRS 102 lease and revenue recognition standards, ensuring policies and processes are updated effectively. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in accounting transitions and strong technical knowledge of relevant standards. Project Accountant
Birmingham (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)
6 month FTC with a potential to extend
£80,000- £100,000 plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year
9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday
2-stage process
We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to support the finance function through a significant period of change. The role will focus primarily on the implementation of FRED 82 leases and revenue recognition under UK GAAP, ensuring accounting policy changes are successfully delivered, systems and processes are updated, and stakeholders are supported throughout the transition.
