Job summary
A leading health services provider is seeking a Remote Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to support young people aged 11-17 through evidence-based therapy. This role allows for full or part-time work with a commitment of at least 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate will hold a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in working with children and adolescents. Education
Fully remote – UK only. Permanent. Minimum 3 days per week (24 hours). Full or part‑time (pro‑rata if part‑time). Salary from £47,000 plus Bupa benefits.
YP service 10:00–20:00, strong preference for after‑school appointments. 50% of shifts must be late 11:30–20:00.
We help people live longer, healthier, happier lives. As a Remote CBT Psychotherapist, you’ll support young people (11‑17) through triage and evidence‑based therapy remotely.
- Deliver high‑quality triage, CBT or brief interventions to young people.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored formulations.
- Offer therapy via video or telephone, depending on client preference.
- Liaise with schools, parents, carers, and other key stakeholders.
- Work within Bupa's case management and safeguarding frameworks.
- Manage risk and escalate concerns with support from clinical leads.
- Provide signposting, onward referrals, and one‑off wellbeing support as needed.
- Contribute to psychoeducation and mental health awareness through workshops and presentations.
- Attend regular clinical supervision and collaborate with the wider therapy team.
- Identify ways to improve client and employee experiences.
- Postgraduate Diploma in CBT (High Intensity).
- Full accreditation with BABCP.
- At least 2 years post‑qualification experience delivering CBT to children and/or adolescents.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own caseload.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
- Experience working towards utilisation targets and maintaining time boundaries.
- Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and a great team player.
- Desirable: EMDR training, corporate experience, leadership skills.
