A health data research organization in the UK is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage day-to-day project activities and ensure efficient workflow within the team. The role involves supporting project administration, coordinating events, and maintaining records. Ideal candidates will excel in organization, attention to detail, and collaboration, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. This position requires an adaptable individual passionate about health data science and project management.
Reporting to the QQ2 Programme Director, the successful candidate will be a key member of the HDR UK QQ2 Programmes team, supporting the day-to-day delivery and management of integrative activities across HDR UK’s QQ2 Programmes, and wider data strategy activities with UK data partners. They will support the day-to-day administration for the team, including engaging with staff and partners, preparing for meetings and following up on actions, helping coordinate events and assisting with communications and reporting requirements. The role holder will also be collating and updating quarterly reporting metrics on HDR UK Programme delivery and impact, and lead on management of data curation for HDR UK Programmes on the Health Data Research Innovation Gateway. The role holder will work closely with HDR UK colleagues and community, as well as stakeholders across academia, NHS, third sector, patients and public, and industry. The role holder will share our values, have strong collaboration skills, be comfortable with working at pace, and have a passion for professional, high-quality approaches to project support and co-ordination. This post would suit someone who is well organised and adaptable with excellent attention to detail and is interested in developing their project management skills.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with the HDRUK QQ2 Programmes team to support the delivery of a portfolio of work HDR UK. The post-holder will be responsible for managing their own workload which may involve a diverse number of tasks across multiple projects. This will require excellent planning, organisational and time management skills. At the same time, the post holder will require a flexible approach to work to changing demands of the core team and based on external changes. The post holder will be expected to travel regularly throughout the UK.
The Project Coordinator will be expected to use problem solving skills to respond to the diverse demands on the team. As part of a small team, the post holder will require confidence and resilience in planning and in dealing with enquiries and challenges that arise across the team.
The post-holder will make all day-to-day operational decisions for their own workload. They will be expected to contribute to collaborative efforts which support project delivery, focusing on effective communication and information provision to support decision making. The Project Coordinator will work collaborate across HDRUK teams and more widely with members of the HDR UK community and key stakeholders.

The post-holder will review, analyse, identify, and implement opportunities for quality improvement within their role and as part of the wider team through our strategy development and internal audit processes.
The post holder will build and maintain effective working relationships both within HDR UK, and our partner organisations, including Alliance members and the wider HDR UK community. The Project Coordinator will have close working relationships with the HDRUK Programmes Delivery and Integration teams, Head of Alliance Strategy & Engagement and Innovation Gateway teams, as well as other HDR UK teams including the Communications and Engagement and Finance and Operations teams.
