This role supports managers with day-to-day people processes such as absence, AWOL, probation, and flexible working requests, while also advising on people policies and low-level employee relations cases. You’ll guide managers through all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, and provide coaching on best practices. A key part of the role involves managing attendance cases, tracking data, and identifying trends to inform business decisions. Strong communication, organisation, and discretion are essential, along with the ability to assess risks and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
We believe in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can be their true self and belong. We work hard to improve the diversity of our teams and celebrate our differences. And we care about our colleagues’ wellbeing, so we ensure there are plenty of resources available so everyone can look after their emotional, physical, financial and work wellbeing. We call this “Better Me”.
This role will suit someone who is confident in advising line managers, enjoys solving people-related queries, and has a good understanding of HR policies and employment law. It’s ideal for someone with experience in absence or attendance management and handling flexible working requests.
