Team Lead (WAREHOUSE CLOTHING SORTER - III) Schedule - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Payrate: 19.00 per hour Since its establishment in 1887, the Rescue Mission has been committed to translating love into tangible actions through the provision of food, shelter, clothing, and support services. The remarkable work we accomplish is made possible through the dedication of our leadership and team members. Are you prepared to become a part of this mission-driven organization? The Rescue Mission is seeking a Full‑Time Sorter‑III (Team Lead) at our Donations Redistribution Center, Clothing Department. Sorter III is responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor in maintaining company production and quality standards through effective team management and leadership. In this role, the Sorter III provides training, direction, and leadership to warehouse employees and volunteers while creating a positive, engaging workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Partners with the Production Supervisor for the development of staff through daily direction, delegating, training, coaching & counseling.
  • Oversees and participates in day-to-day operations, including sorting clothing and hard goods donations.
  • Meets set quotas for the department while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assists with the management of employee relations.
  • Maintains, records, and monitors accurate production and quality metrics for employees.
  • Oversees the proper supply and storage of inventory.
  • Communicates pertinent information to the Production Supervisor to keep him/her appraised of important issues.
  • Promotes a safety‑first attitude by setting a positive example and ensuring all employees are following safety policies and procedures.
  • Regular and predictable in-person attendance is an essential requirement for the job.
Requirements
  • Available to work day shift Sunday through Thursday, occasional overtime and some holidays.
  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
  • 1‑3 years’ experience in a production warehouse or retail setting.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in clothing categorization and brands.
  • Knowledge of production operations.
  • Lifting 30 pounds, bending and standing for long hours.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced and changing environment.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Passion for the Mission & Vision of the organization.
