An established and respected ambient food manufacturer in Daventry is looking to add a Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable business, working regular weekday hours with no nights or shifts.
As part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned maintenance (PMs) on a wide range of factory machinery
- Responding to breakdowns and providing effective, timely repairs
- Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding
- Delivering minor improvement and optimisation projects
- Supporting production to ensure equipment uptime and reliability
- Maintaining safe working practices and accurate maintenance records
- Hold a relevant engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical)
- Have experience in a food, FMCG, or similar fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Be confident with fault finding and working across a variety of processing and packing equipment
- Enjoy working as part of a supportive team
- Be proactive, reliable, and safety‑conscious
