Job Title: Multi‑Skilled Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical)

Location: Static Site

Employment Type: Full‑Time

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, days only

Industry: Facilities Management

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join our facilities management team at a static site. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical or electrical background and experience working within an FM environment while supporting the smooth operation of building services and site infrastructure. This is a days‑only role with no nights, shift work or weekend requirements. Overtime is also available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on site
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly
  • Monitor and maintain building services systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site and company procedures
  • Keep accurate records, job sheets, and maintenance logs
  • Build strong working relationships with site staff, contractors, and FM teams
  • Support site operations and take ownership of engineering tasks within your remit
About You
  • Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Experience working in anFM role
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
  • Good knowledge of building services such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical systems, and controls
  • Able to work independently with a proactive and professional approach
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
