A local government council in Shrewsbury is searching for a Junior Graphic Designer to join their dynamic creative team. This role involves supporting high-profile communication priorities and the delivery of marketing materials across various formats. Ideal candidates will have expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite and prior graphic design experience. We have an exciting opportunity for a graphic designer to join our modern, fast-moving creative team, where you will support many of our high-profile communications priorities.
Working as a Junior Graphic Designer, you will help with the delivery of multi-channel communication and marketing. This will include working across a wide range of service areas including commercially focused campaigns as well as local government strategies and much more. You will play a key role in supporting the team in the creation, amending and checking of visual assets both physical and digital.
You will be joining an award-winning Council which is the 2025 LGC Council of the Year and a dedicated and highly skilled communications team which shares a joint ambition to deliver the best in public sector communications.
If successfully shortlisted you will be asked to attend an interview where you will be required to present your portfolio.
