We are seeking a Permanent Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Bridge of Weir location in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-skilled engineering and will play a crucial role in driving the continuous improvement of maintenance activities to ensure optimum plant efficiency. You will be responsible for addressing all electrical and mechanical maintenance needs, participating in improvement initiatives, and responding promptly to breakdown requirements. Your expertise will support our commitment to quality and sustainability in leather manufacturing.

  • Relevant experience working within electrical, mechanical, and technical disciplines.
  • Excellent all-round technical, mechanical, and hydraulic system knowledge.
  • Broad knowledge of both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Previous experience in an operational environment is preferred.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Organised, logical, and methodical approach to planning and execution of tasks.
  • ‘Can do - will do’ attitude.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and resilient, capable of identifying issues and driving solutions.
