Maintenance Engineer - Established Ambient Food Processor - Daventry

Salary: £49,000 + Benefits • Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00-18:30

An established and respected ambient food manufacturer in Daventry is looking to add a Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable business, working regular weekday hours with no nights or shifts.

The Role

As part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance (PMs) on a wide range of factory machinery
  • Responding to breakdowns and providing effective, timely repairs
  • Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding
  • Delivering minor improvement and optimisation projects
  • Supporting production to ensure equipment uptime and reliability
  • Maintaining safe working practices and accurate maintenance records
About You
  • Hold a relevant engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical)
  • Have experience in a food, FMCG, or similar fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Be confident with fault finding and working across a variety of processing and packing equipment
  • Enjoy working as part of a supportive team
  • Be proactive, reliable, and safety‑conscious
