Job summary
A leading construction recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead in Leyland to oversee civil engineering works for major infrastructure projects in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management expertise. Responsibilities include ensuring project plans are followed, resource organisation, and providing engineering design support when necessary. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary dependent on experience.

I am looking for a senior person for a Delivery lead position with a good civil engineering background, to deliver engineering technical excellence on works in London.
You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a civils aspect on major works. This role would suit a project director/ engineering lead who has worked on rail and civil works.
- Ensure the civil engineering element of the works goes according with works plans.
- Organise resources of people and materials to ensure delivery of works.
- Work in a team for round the clock coverage of job sites.
- Assist with engineering design and plans as required
- Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated contracts.
- Act as point of escalation for SPMS and engineering leads
- Civil engineering background
- Station project works at early stages ideally
- Will need to have current or past project management experience
