Description & Requirements

Bloomberg Connects is a rapidly growing, free app that allows users to explore museums, galleries, and cultural spaces around the world anytime, anywhere. This venture, a collaboration between Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies, is dedicated to broadening access to the arts and culture globally.

We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic, hands-on marketer to join our team. The Digital Engagement Manager will develop global programs that drive user adoption, engagement, and long-term retention. You’ll have the chance to define and scale engagement strategies that inspire millions of users and help shape the future of digital cultural experiences. This high-visibility role is based in London and reports to the Head of Digital Marketing.

We'll trust you to:

Growth & Acquisition

  • Develop non-paid acquisition strategies (e.g. app store optimization, SEO, web presence, referral loops)
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to align paid and organic approaches
  • Explore partner co-marketing opportunities with world-class cultural institutions
Lifecycle & Retention
  • Own the lifecycle marketing roadmap across channels to increase engagement and retention
  • Deep dive into available data to understand our audiences and build targeted segments for personalization
  • Create and optimize workflows, including tailored nurture journeys for current app users and personalized journeys for net new or inactive users
  • Create and manage email/sms/notification templates for global campaigns from newsletters to welcome and re-engagement journeys
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, conduct A/B tests and analyze data to continually refine and optimize engagement and retention strategies
  • Partner with product and data teams to identify behavioral triggers and address drop-offs
  • Work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing to set quarterly growth and engagement goals
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that drive measurable results
  • Collaborate with Data and Engineering teams to test, experiment, and innovate
  • Contribute to the broader marketing roadmap and introduce new ideas to strengthen user connection with the app
You'll need to have:
  • 5+ years of experience in digital, growth, automation, or lifecycle marketing (consumer app or cultural brand experience a plus; 5+ years preferred, not required)
  • Well versed in email marketing, segmentation strategies, and marketing automation workflows (e.g. Eloqua, MailChimp, Hubspot)
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools and AB testing (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker, Appsflyer)
  • Knowledgeable in developing and delivering audience segmentation and personalization strategies
  • Skilled at managing cross-functional projects with internal and external partners
  • A creative problem-solver, collaborative and passionate about making arts and culture more accessible
Why Join Us:

This is an opportunity to join a passionate team at the intersection of culture and technology, with the chance to shape how global audiences discover and engage with the arts. You’ll work with some of the world’s most respected cultural institutions while driving strategies that impact millions of users.

If you’re a data-driven marketer who thrives on experimentation, collaboration, and meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.
