Are you the eager commercial star to boost our sales? Join our team as Area Sales Manager and you’ll step into our exciting world of poultry processing systems and solutions. You’ll be the closest contact to our customers; interact with them one-on-one, in person, at exhibitions, demos or other occasions. You will analyze their needs and offer them the best possible solutions, understanding all relevant details of the customers’ process and Marel’s solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Work in close collaboration with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Distribution Partners, and Regional Sales Operations
  • Participate in the process of establishing and implementing a structural industry market plan for a region
  • Drive the sales of complex solutions; justify their value and help increase JBT Marel’s market share while meeting customer requirements
  • Support and train Account Managers within depth process knowledge
  • Be responsible for realizing sales (targets in volume and achieving the best possible price and market share for complex solutions)
  • Be responsible for visit reports, opportunity registration and follow-up (maintaining data in Company CRM systems)
  • Collect information on competitors’ activities, installed base, requirements, and developments
  • Meet KPI (Key Performance Indicators) goals with sales and margins
Qualifications

Area Sales Manager Has
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
  • 3 years’ experience in outside business-to-business sales of technical/mechanical systems, preferably with an international company
  • Skills in software such as a CRM system, Microsoft Office
  • Excellent skills in written and verbal English
  • The commitment to travel within the assigned sales territory
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, multidisciplinary organization
