As an Inside Sales Technical Sales Specialist for qPCR assays, you will play a key role in growing our Genetic Analysis portfolio. You will support existing customers performing qPCR, identify new opportunities, provide expert technical guidance, and collaborate closely with our Inside Sales Account Managers and Field Sales teams. Your consultative sales approach and strong technical background in qPCR will directly influence customer success and revenue growth across the UK.

A Day in the Life:
  • Proactively support and develop customers performing qPCR analysis, with a focus on qPCR assays.
  • Prospect among new and existing accounts to generate qualified leads and expand the commercial pipeline.
  • Conduct consultative conversations, schedule appointments, deliver technical presentations, and understand customer goals, challenges, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales and Field Sales teams to progress opportunities through the sales cycle and successfully close business.
  • Strengthen relationships in existing accounts by introducing new products, applications, and workflow solutions.
  • Maintain accurate customer activity records in the CRM system and support pipeline forecasting and reporting.
  • Apply strategic selling methods to influence purchasing decisions at multiple organizational levels.
  • Create and execute an annual business plan for your assigned territory, updating progress quarterly.
  • Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies, competitor activities, and customer buying behaviors.
  • Use your applications expertise to effectively position Thermo Fisher technologies in a competitive landscape.

Keys to Success
Education
