PDI Technician - Leicester
Job summary
A leading automotive manufacturer in Leicester seeks an experienced PDI Technician. The role involves ensuring PDI’s and RI’s are performed according to manufacturer’s procedures and working closely with the parts team for correct fittings. Candidates must have experience within the HGV sector and ideally possess a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. A full UK driving licence is required. - Previous experience in HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, or associated sectors.
- Ideally possess a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Must have a full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Ensure PDI’s and RI’s are performed per manufacturer’s procedures.
- Work with the parts team to ensure correct parts fitting.
- Complete PDI and RI sheets per instructions.

- You will have previous experience working as a Technician / Mechanic within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car or an associated sector.
- Ideally have a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Or a time served Technician.
- Full UK driving licence.
Ensure PDI’s and RI’s are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with PDI standard times. Work with the parts team to make sure the correct parts are fitted to the vehicles. Confirm that PDI and RI sheets are completed as per manufacturer/customer instructions. Adhere to all relevant Type Approval regulations.
Week 1, Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm. Week 2, Monday – Friday 10am – 6:30pm.
