Job summary
A leading postal delivery organization in the UK is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to manage large scale automation projects with budgets up to £100 million. The role involves technical contract management and leading teams to ensure projects meet requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation and project leadership. This position is predominantly on-site in the UK, with occasional remote work possibilities.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of automated processes, equipment & machinery.
- Good knowledge of cost versus risk and change management theories.
- Experience leading large scale projects end to end.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience of producing technical contract documents for automation procurement.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects with a spend as high as £100 million.
- Lead contractual components of automation supply contracts.
- Provide technical oversight of the tender process for automation procurement.
- Manage Engineering Technical Managers to meet project timescales.
- Lead on the delivery of engineering elements for specific contracts.
