A leading educational institution in Portsmouth seeks an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to serve as an Adjunct Faculty member for the Kinesiology for Massage Therapists course. Ideal candidates will possess not only a Bachelor's degree focusing on science but also significant teaching experience as well as current licensing and liability insurance. This temporary role offers flexible teaching formats and a compensation range of $825-$975 per contact hour, contingent upon the applicant's qualifications.

Great Bay Community College seeks an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to teach our course Kinesiology for Massage Therapists in the Massage Therapy Program.
Semester: Spring Semester 2026
Adjunct Faculty: Massage Therapy Program
Course: MASS 261G Kinesiology for Massage Therapists
The instructor will be responsible for teaching a 15-week, 5 credit course, Kinesiology for Massage Therapists. The instructor must be familiar with and experienced teaching in an in-person, online or blended learning environment using a variety of platforms, including Zoom.
Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.
The compensation rate is $825-$975 per contact hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:
Education: Bachelor’s degree with concentration in science and a minimum of (5) years related teaching and/or professional work experience related to the teaching assignment shall be considered as meeting the subject/content area requirements.
Experience: Minimum of (3) years professional experience in the field of Massage Therapy depending on education.
Licensure: Faculty must possess current NH LMT Licensure and current Liability insurance.
