Job summary

A leading training provider in carpentry is seeking a Carpentry Technician at the Barking Training Hub. In this full-time role, you will guide and inspire apprentices while maintaining a safe and organized training environment. Candidates should have proven site carpentry experience and a Level 2 carpentry qualification. This position offers a salary range of £32,000 – £36,000 plus a £6,000 regional allowance and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in site carpentry, including 1st fix, 2nd fix, and roofing.
• Solid background in housebuilding or site-based carpentry.
• Willingness to complete First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the senior trainer by preparing materials and tools for training sessions.
• Teaching and guiding apprentices during practical workshops.
• Constructing and demonstrating carpentry examples.
