Your creativity and thinking ‘outside the box’ will be encouraged; using AI and technology to optimise today and driving transformation for tomorrow.**What you'll be doing...****Systems and AI; Seeking Opportunities*** Monitor and analyse accounts payable processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy; seek opportunities with AI to drive the department forward.* Optimise the use of our newly implemented systems; streamline monthly payment cycle.* Act as the subject matter expert for future projects relating to AP and expenses.**Compliance*** Develop and maintain accounts payable policies and procedures; ensure key business process procedures are thoroughly documented.* Ensure compliance with Group policies and internal controls.* Ensure compliance with government legislations and ongoing reporting requirements.* Assist with audits, provide documentation and support as needed**Team & Stakeholder Management*** Coach and develop accounts payable colleagues, including setting performance goals and offering growth opportunities.* Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, OneWorld, IT and Marketing to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.* Manage vendor onboarding and relationships; resolve any issues or disputes related to payments or invoices**Reporting*** Prepare and analyse accounts payable reports, including aging reports, cash flow projections & optimisation, and vendor performance metrics* Ensure accurate and timely month-end close* Collaborate with Group and Financial Reporting to drive improvement in intercompany reporting.**A little bit about you...*** Previous experience in accounts payable and small team management* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices* Experience with SAP* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines* Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices* Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements* Experience in using AI in business environment would be advantageous* We believe in building a diverse and inclusive culture and positive employee experience.* We are One Team, more than just ourselves.* We are customer first, we understand, and help solve our customers’ problems.* We Test & Learn, we are empowered to learn and grow, unafraid of change.* We choose to care, we are committed to doing the right thing, the right way.**It’s really important to us that we give as much to our colleagues as they give to us.**Our latest Belonging Survey showed that our colleagues feel valued and listened to as we continue to build an environment where everyone can thrive, grow, belong and be their authentic selves.We believe that diversity of thought, experience and background provides the platform for great creativity,We are committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability or gender identity.Many of our Colleagues work flexibly in many different ways.
