We are looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Assistant who is dedicated to making every moment count. The successful applicant will help ensure the care home is safe, well‑maintained, and operating efficiently, contributing to the comfort and wellbeing of our residents. Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role (preferably in a care home or similar setting) is beneficial along with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will use your knowledge and professional judgment to ensure our residents' health and wellbeing needs are met. You will also work closely with the Care Home Manager and staff team to provide the highest level of person‑centred care. This role requires excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for improving the lives of our residents by maintaining a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment.
