A dynamic joint venture company in Portsmouth is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of construction and refurbishment projects. The role involves ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget while adhering to regulatory standards. As Project Manager – Buildings, you’ll be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned projects within the programme. You’ll ensure that project objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Being the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and coordinates with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
You’ll lead the delivery of construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring structural integrity while embedding compliance with Building Regulations, British Standards, and statutory safety frameworks
A proventrack recordof deliveringprojects andexperience offull end-to-end delivery of the project lifecycle, ideally with expertise in fire engineering, water hygiene, asbestos management.
With a strong collaborative ability,you’llhave decision and negotiation skills to positivelyimpactyour projects.You’llalso have strong planning capability, ever ensuring concise working measures and active listening skill to firmly influenceand drive your projects forward on time and on budget.
You’ll be a technical leader, regulatory fluency, and have the ability to manage safety-critical elements within structural projects from concept to completion. You will manage the day-to-day project activities including scope, schedule, cost, and quality whilst delivering projects in alignment with programme strategy and objectives.
