Role Overview

Design Manager with education sector experience and specifically DFE tendering process experience to support the generation of profitable tenders, maximise the order pipeline and its conversion into market share, revenue, and operating profit within the business unit.

Responsibilities
  • Support generation of profitable tenders for authorisation and submission.
  • Manage the process of designing solutions for projects to meet or exceed customers’ requirements.
  • Identify contractual, financial, technical, and operational risks and find opportunities for value engineering.
  • Support fulfilment of the pipeline of contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while maximising gross profit and customers’ satisfaction.
  • Implement all of the Group’s relevant policies including those for SHE, risk management, and solution design.

  • Previous experience in a similar role, working on projects in the education sector.
  • Experience with the DFE tender process.
