Job summary

A leading manufacturer in the chocolate industry based in Banbury is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician. The role focuses on ensuring equipment availability, executing maintenance tasks, and contributing to continuous improvement. Ideal candidates will possess an ONC in engineering, NVQ Level 3, and experience in a maintenance department, particularly in a food manufacturing environment. Qualifications

  • Must hold an ONC (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Must have completed an apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance department, particularly in food processing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency response for breakdowns in the factory.
  • Undertake Planned Preventative maintenance across all site equipment.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement them.
