Qualifications

  • Ability to perform Principal, General, Special, Safety and Monitoring inspections.
  • Capability to prepare detailed inspection reports.
  • Must engage in client and third-party liaison for maintenance works.

Responsibilities

  • Implement inspection requirements as per client specifications.
  • Supervise less experienced staff during inspections.
  • Work in a team to deliver on-call emergency inspection duties.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
Experience in inspection of structures
Good knowledge of metals and metallurgy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
Hold a full UK driving licence

Education

HNC / HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Completed or working towards Bridge Inspection Certification Scheme (BICS)
Certification Scheme for Personnel – Weld Inspector (CSWIP3.1 or 3.2)
PCN Level 2 Dye Penetrant Testing
PCN Level 2 Magnetic Particle Investigation
