The role is instrumental in ensuring efficiency, quality and production targets are achieved, as well as planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities in collaboration with the Engineering team.

You will support the planning and execution of day-to-day papermaking and manufacturing activities, setting standards and implementing all aspects of the SQCDM framework. You’ll ensure all activities are performed in compliance with safety protocol and procedures, fostering a culture of zero-harm by choice.

You will also support the Production Manager in delivering CAPEX projects on time and within budget.

As a people leader, your responsibilities will include team motivation, development, carrying out Performance Management Reviews/Appraisals, and conducting Key Operator meetings on at least two occasions per year.

• Support planning and execution of day-to-day papermaking and manufacturing activities, setting standards and implementing all aspects of the SQCDM framework.
• Ensure activities are performed in compliance with safety protocols and procedures, fostering a zero-harm by choice culture.
• Assist the Production Manager in delivering CAPEX projects on time and within budget.
• Lead people management activities, including team motivation, development, Performance Management Reviews/Appraisals, and conducting Key Operator meetings at least twice per year.
