CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR

Blyth Library, 37 hours per week

Working hours - 9,00-5.00 Monday to Thursday, 9.00-16.30 Friday

Fixed Term for 12 months

Who we are
  • The Customer Experience team are the first point of contact for people who get in touch with council. The team operates a telephone contact centre based in Morpeth and 6 information centres across the county in Berwick, Alnwick, Ashington, Blyth, Cramlington and Hexham. Our Customer Service Advisors work in a hybrid way, working from home and in the office and are part of a tight-knit team supported by our team leaders.
  • We are passionate about delivering accessible and easy services to everyone. Through meaningful conversations we will provide clear information and advice to our customers.
  • We provide advice across a wide range of areas including housing, benefits, council tax, blue badges, concessionary travel, household waste, highways, planning and much, much more!
  • We have a full training programme to get you up to speed and continued development opportunities.
  • We are passionate about our staff and their wellbeing, we offer loads of resources, staff network groups and other support for our people to tap into.
  • Sociable working hours - shifts vary between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
