Job summary
A premier law firm in Belfast is seeking an entry-level legal assistant to support lawyers in managing claims. Responsibilities include assisting with liability enquiries, drafting witness statements, and preparing court bundles. Your role will involve assisting our lawyers and Partners with all aspects of the day‑to‑day management of claims, including:
- Assisting with liability enquiries
- Obtaining and reviewing medical records and reports
- Drafting witness statements
- Preparing instructions to Experts and Counsel
- Preparing Counsel/Court bundles
- General administrative duties
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Knowledge of the litigation process (optional)
- Previous experience in a similar legal setting (required)
