Job summary
A retail outlet in Livingston is seeking a part-time keyholder to assist in store operations and customer service. The role involves helping with transactions, merchandising, and ensuring security protocols are followed. Ideal candidates have experience with till processing and a friendly demeanor for customer interactions. This position offers 26.5 hours per week across 4 days, with shifts from Monday to Sunday.
Qualifications
- Experience with processing sales transactions.
- Familiarity with data entry and IT systems.
- Strong customer interaction skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist Store Manager in running the store.
- Process sales transactions efficiently.
- Act as a keyholder for security protocols.
- Assist customers with product selections.
- Help with store merchandising and cleanliness.
Skills
Please be advised that this is a part time position, working 26.5hrs/4 days, Monday to Sunday. Keyholder duties are included.
Job Description:
- To assist the Store Manager/Assistant Manager in the smooth running of the store in order to achieve sales and cost targets.
- Process all sales transactions quickly and efficiently.
- Act as keyholder and ensure that the store is opened and locked up according to Company security procedures.
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the store ensuring that all customers are greeted and helped with their product selection.
- Assist with implementing shop merchandising.
- Assist with carrying out stock takes.
- Assist in receiving and sorting stock deliveries, ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed.
- Ensure the store is clean and tidy.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience Till Processing.
- General IT knowledge, familiar with data entry.
- Ability to approach customers and create conversation.
