Health and Safety Administrator – Irvine, Scotland

Altrad are currently expanding due to a number of project successes within our Major projects business across the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences industries.

To support this growth we are looking to recruit an Environmental, Health and Safety Administrator with a proven track record in completing administrative duties associated with EPCM projects. You will work within the team ensuring Health and Safety processes are delivered across the site for both existing and future projects.

  • Produce correspondence, reports, and other documents as required within the team
  • Manage filing systems and maintain accurate health and safety records on systems
  • Order health and safety supplies as needed, keeping track of budgets and accurately recording
  • Provide administrative support to the team and wider organisation as and when required
  • Accurately input data into spreadsheets and databases
  • Work effectively with company systems to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with maintaining best practice health and safety (HS&E) procedures that adequately support the business
  • Assist with data entry of the monthly HS&E performance reports
  • Recommend areas for the continual improvement of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems
Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure accurate Data entry into business management systems
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures and processes
  • Ensuring preparation of health and safety presentations
  • Effective communication with functional and operational management facilitating continuous improvement and optimum HSE performance
  • Continuous support to the Construction & EHS manager/advisor in all matters concerning HSE.
Key Requirements
  • Preferably one year’s experience in a Health and Safety Administration role desirable but not essential
  • Qualification in Administration or equivalent experience
  • Good IT skills adept in areas of Microsoft office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good analytical skills to process and understand data
  • Interest in Health and Safety
