Position Overview:We are excited to announce a rare opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to join our team, overseeing the care and development of children aged 2 and under. This full-time position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, with availability between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, all year round. The successful candidate will start in mid-March 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the room for children aged 2 and under, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of the children.
• Supervise and support nursery staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team atmosphere.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Ensure compliance with all nursery policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of recent experience working in a nursery setting is required.
• An NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent is preferred. However, candidates with a Level 2 qualification and relevant experience will also be considered.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team and create a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
