Job summary
A leading healthcare employer is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to lead the care of inpatients with complex needs. You will manage treatment plans and ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act. The ideal candidate will hold an MRCPsych or equivalent, and have experience in acute psychiatry. - Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Experience in managing inpatients with developmental disabilities is desirable.
- Experience working in trauma-informed settings is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the adequate working of the Care Programme Approach for patients.
- Work with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure good patient care.
- Provide clinical leadership and contribute to staff training.
