Job description

You will play a critical role in reducing fire-related risk for the various functions across the Wessex Water portfolio.

This is a two-year fixed-term contract.

What you'll do

You will be working with the wider safety team and business leaders.

You will develop fire safety, conduct fire safety inspections and develop fire risk assessments across some complex work environments, including areas where there are DSEAR risk and COMAH compliance obligations.

What you'll need

We are looking for someone with:

  • a Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent from an OFQUAL or SQA certified provider
  • familiarity with fire safety regulations and the practical application of fire risk mitigation actions in complex work environments
  • experience delivering fire risk assessments within the BS8674 framework.
