Night Senior Care Lead: Mentoring Staff & Resident Safety
Job summary
A leading care provider in St Albans is seeking a full-time Senior Care Assistant (Nights). In this role, you will oversee the home during night shifts, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents while supporting and mentoring staff. Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 2, with a path toward Level 3, and strong leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities
- Ensure a walking handover of residents at shift starts and ends.
- Support with training and development of staff.
- Conduct regular checks on residents' needs at night.
- Complete all night documentation accurately.
