This role involves leading radiological surveys, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing the training of staff in radiation protection. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a nuclear facility and a strong understanding of radiation monitoring and safety protocols, as well as essential certifications such as City & Guilds Level 3 in Radiation Protection.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in health physics within a nuclear facility.
• Thorough knowledge of Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017.
• Ability to manage and train Health Physics staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct radiological surveys on site.
• Monitor and report on radiological conditions accurately.
• Coordinate resources for health physics coverage and emergencies.
