Under the guidance of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, or speech and language therapists, you will help with rehabilitation and offer assistance with everyday tasks, including walking, shopping, and personal care. Patience, a person‑centred approach, and effective communication skills are crucial.
- Assist in rehabilitation, collaborating with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physiotherapists.
- Assist people with their everyday tasks.
- Promote self‑reliance and involvement in activities.
- Track and update the larger clinical team on the client’s progress.
- Keep correct records in accordance with care plans.
- Experience working in a support or care capacity.
- A considerate and polite manner.
- The ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
