• Help clients with personal care duties, such as clothing, grooming, and bathing.
• Help clients with everyday tasks like meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility support.
• Adhere to individual care plans to ensure each client’s unique needs are met.
• Keep thorough notes of your clients’ progress and notify the care manager or supervising nurse of any changes in their condition.
• Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and other medical specialists.
• As needed, drive clients to social events or appointments while ensuring their safety.
• Use IT tools for communication and documentation while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Attend meetings and training events to improve your knowledge and abilities related to the position.

• Prior experience working in a care facility or providing home care is preferred.
• Solid understanding of care plans and the ability to carry them out successfully.
• Outstanding written and spoken English communication abilities.
• Access to a car and a current driver’s license.
• Compassionate outlook and a sincere desire to assist others.
• Basic understanding of IT for documentation purposes.
• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively, exhibiting adaptability and dependability.

Depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience, we are able to sponsor a skilled worker visa for this position. Although the majority of sponsored team members will be located in Letchworth Garden City, we may require coverage in other areas such as the Wisbech branch. Accommodation will be supplied if travel to another area is required.

Job Types: Zero-hour contract, part-time, and full-time

Pay range: £12.82–£14.00 per hour
