Job summary

A dedicated children's residential provider is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to positively impact the lives of children and young people. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in residential childcare and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. This permanent position offers an hourly rate of £13.50 and additional sleep-in payments. Opportunities for progression and training are available.

Job Title

Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker

Location: Runcorn (WA7)

Salary: £13.50 per hour (c£28,080 Base Salary & £6,600 in sleeps = £34,680 take home)

Working Hour: 40 hours per week, rolling rota (2 on, 4 off, weekends included) & Overtime can be allocated if required.

Hourly Rate: £13.50

Number of Sleeps Required: 8–11 per month

Pay Per Sleep: £55

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: YPs with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent recognised qualification)

Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 years in residential childcare

Employment Type: Permanent

  • Number of Beds: 1 Bed with a Staffing Ratio of 2:1 (Staff:Children)
  • Location: Runcorn, WA7
  • Type of YPs: EBD, Trauma, Neglect
  • Ofsted Rating: New/aiming for Good to Outstanding

    • Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered.
