Job description
About Swoon

Swoon was founded in 2012 to create distinctive designs that owners will want to keep forever and a lofty goal to spark home obsession everywhere.

We design original pieces in-house, and our innovative NPD process quickly discovers the next trend. Our testing platform ensures designs sell online at their intended price, and our data-led approach grows sales within families exponentially. Our business model cuts out expensive overheads like shops and overstocked warehouses, making our prices affordable.

Our distinctive look unlocks collaborations with leading retailers like John Lewis and many more. This diversified growth strategy is powering our brand to a significant market share. And we’re just getting started…

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Product Set-Up Specialist to support the onboarding and optimisation of products across our dropship retail partners. This role ensures that every product is accurately represented, fully compliant with partner requirements, and presented with customer-friendly, commercially effective content. You will work closely with our ecommerce, product development, operations and content teams to ensure a smooth, consistent flow of product data and assets into partner systems.

This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone comfortable working with data, managing processes end-to-end, and maintaining high accuracy in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities
Product Data Management
  • Own the full product set-up process for assigned dropship retail partners.
  • Input, clean, and validate product data across multiple spreadsheets, templates, and systems.
  • Ensure accuracy across all product attributes including dimensions, naming, pricing, materials, and imagery.
  • Maintain data consistency between internal systems and partner requirements.
Copywriting & Content QA
  • Review and refine existing product copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Tailor product copy for partner tone of voice and customer expectations where needed.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in product content and work with internal teams to resolve them.
Process & Compliance
  • Follow and refine internal workflows to ensure timely and error‑free product launches.
  • Ensure all products meet partner‑specific compliance rules, data formats, and content standards.
  • Flag operational or data issues early and propose pragmatic solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Liaise with product development, design, operations, and creative teams to gather missing information
  • Communicate partner expectations and data needs clearly and proactively.
  • Support ongoing improvements to product data processes, templates, and documentation.
  • Brief content team for product assets
Essential
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data handling.
  • Spreadsheet literacy (Excel / Google Sheets), including data cleaning and template management.
  • Proven experience in ecommerce, marketplace, or product data roles.
  • Ability to review and write product copy that is clear, logical, and customer-focused.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple product workflows simultaneously.
  • Process-driven, with a methodical approach to quality control.
Desirable
  • Experience working with dropship partners or marketplaces (e.g., Wayfair, Next, John Lewis, Amazon, etc.).
  • Experience with PIM systems.
  • Understanding of SEO principles related to product content.
  • Familiarity with homeware, furniture, or lifestyle products.
Attributes
  • Proactive, with a problem‑solving mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership.
  • Clear communicator, able to translate technical requirements into practical actions.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities or partner needs.
