Rigging Team Assistant (12 Month FTC)The NEC Group is looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our dynamic team. Our mission is to create unforgettable experiences through world‑class events and services.
We have a fantastic opening for a Rigging Team Assistant to join our Arenas Rigging Team on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
You will be working across two of the UK’s top 10 arenas which hold over 200 events and welcome 1.5 million fans every year. Based in Birmingham City Centre and on the NEC Campus in Solihull, you will be part of a team that welcomes people to a wide variety of events, from concerts and comedy to sporting and family events; no two days are ever the same!
This role will lead, coordinate, and allocate rigging staff, equipment, and resources, ensuring the delivery of all event and non‑event rigging services in compliance with Health & Safety standards, agreed timelines, and budgetary requirements. Additionally, the role provides operational support to riggers, trainees, freelancers, and agency personnel, fostering high individual and team performance to maintain service excellence aligned with business objectives across NEC and City Centre sites.
