Medical Receptionist
Job summary
A local healthcare facility is seeking a Medical Receptionist for a fixed term contract until December 2026. This role involves joining a busy, committed reception team in a purpose-built surgery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and computer skills, with the ability to multitask effectively. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.60, plus NHS Pension Scheme eligibility and 5 weeks annual leave pro-rata.

We are seeking a new team member to join our busy, friendly, and committed reception staff in our new purpose-built surgery. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who thrives on teamwork, can multi-task and takes pride in delivering an excellent service to our patients.
Applicants should have first class communication and computer skills with a proven ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy environment. Flexibility to work additional hours is a key requirement for this role.
The rate of pay will be £12.60 per hour, plus eligibility to join NHS Pension Scheme & 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays pro-rata.
The hours required are:
Monday 7.45am – 6.15pm (Half hour lunch break)
Tuesday 7.45am – 6.15pm (Half hour lunch break)
Wednesday 7.45am – 1pm
Friday 7.45am – 6.15pm (Half hour lunch break)
This is a fixed term contract until the end of December 2026.
