Job summary

A community service organization in Braintree is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with the Victorian Christmas event from October 27 to December 6, 2025. Volunteers will craft decorations, help set up, and run activities on event day. No prior experience is needed; just a friendly spirit and a love for creativity and community events. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and contribute to a festive celebration. Training is provided, and volunteers are covered by insurance.

Community Creatives – Victorian Christmas Makers & Event Hosts

Join a warm, welcoming team bringing Stebbing’s Victorian Christmas event to life! This is a social, creative opportunity to connect with others while helping prepare and/or host a festive community celebration.

In the lead-up to the event, we'll meet weekly to craft Victorian-themed decorations - think ivy tinsel, handmade ornaments and paper garlands. On the day of the event (6 December 2025), volunteers will help set up and pack away, run craft activities and support the food and drinks station.

Whether you are a maker and enjoy crafting, a leader, or just love being part of something fun and festive, there is a place for you here. No experience needed - just a willingness to join in and some festive spirit!

On the event day volunteers are needed to:

  • Help in the Kitchen - food & drink
