Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) according to the C+E license requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to various destinations, adhering to the schedule and route plans.
- Conduct pre-use and post-use inspections of the vehicle to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues in accordance with the DVSA standards.
- Load and unload freight in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes, logbooks, and any other relevant documentation, most of which will be captured by electronic devices.
- Maintain effective communication with the dispatch team and customers to provide updates on delivery status.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Represent Evans Transport professionally, always demonstrating excellent customer service and keeping trucks in a clean and professional state.

- Valid HGV C+E license.

- All training for various departments given.

- Flexibility in being full time or Ad Hoc depending on preference.
