Responsibilities
- Collaborate with directors and client managers to deliver top-notch compliance and advisory services.
- Lead and manage complex tax projects for clients and their businesses.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, handling queries in a positive and client-focused manner.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, offering support and performance feedback.
- Prepare, review, and approve tax computations and returns.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and share insights with clients and the team.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the tax department, including business development initiatives and process improvements.
- Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and in business development activities.
- Integrate with and help develop our growing tax team, aligning with company values and fostering a strong team ethic.
Requirements
- Qualified to CTA or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory.
- Excellent client communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise work.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel spreadsheet development.
- Willingness to undertake new and challenging tasks.
Desirable
- Experience in training and managing junior staff.
