Job summary
A national children's charity is seeking a Treasurer to oversee financial governance and support the Board. The ideal candidate will have a background in accountancy with Board level experience in a UK charity. Responsibilities include advising on financial planning and managing the annual budget. The time commitment is approximately 4-6 days per year, with Board meetings mostly held online. This is a voluntary role where reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
Qualifications
- Experience with financial governance in charities.
- Board level experience with a UK charity.
- Strong understanding of budget management and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee annual budget and cashflow.
- Advise on investment of reserve fund.
- Support Co-Directors in financial planning.
