Overview

UK Sales Director - Bioresources at Haskoning. The role focuses on driving sales for UK Water Companies, Tier 1 contractors, and main consultants as part of the Sales and Business Development Team within the Water Technology Products unit.

What you do as a Sales Director

You will be a key part of the UK sales process and collaborate with UK sales staff, business developers, and project delivery colleagues to grow the business.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop account-based sales plans and wining strategies.
  • Prepare initial and final offers to clients for bioresources products.
  • Arrange internal governance and approvals of such offers.
  • Act as a sounding board for the wider UK Business Development and sales team.
  • Provide Water Industry perspectives and guidance on issues within the water sector.
  • Support the UK Team in engaging Directors or senior managers within water companies where possible.
  • Target opportunities outside the Bioresources unit (e.g., other sales initiatives such as Nereda, Aquasuite software, consultancy).
  • Participate in regular UK sales meetings and share cross-discipline information between account directors and sales teams.
  • Foster a proactive learning and improvement culture.
What you bring
  • Higher educational qualification (HND/Degree) in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 10 years of proven commercial experience in the UK Water sector.
  • Active network in the UK Water sector.
  • Broad sales and technology knowledge and experience.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and for short trips abroad.
