A leading UK bookseller seeks an HR Business Partner for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave. The role focuses on providing a people service, advising on employment matters, and ensuring effective HR practices in a friendly and dynamic team environment. Responsibilities include coaching managers, analyzing HR data, and supporting recruitment and talent management strategies. Applicants should have a strong background in HR generalist roles, particularly in a retail setting, and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

Based in Reading area, covering South West (Swindon, Basingstoke, Bristol, Brighton areas)
We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our friendly and dynamic team here at Waterstones for a period of up to 12 months to cover maternity leave. You will be a friendly and approachable HR generalist who can act as a strategic people partner to your business area. Ensure a value-added people service is provided which enhances business performance and puts people at the heart of our culture.
You will provide advice to key stakeholders across your area on all employment matters. Provide a full generalist HR service ensuring that people issues are at the centre of day-to-day business operations. Create and maintain a fair and consistent HR approach across your area.
