We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner based in Redditch with hybrid working available. The position is initially offered on a 12 month full time contract / temporary basis.

The Human Resources Business Partner contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee‑oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment and the recruitment and ongoing development of a dynamic and motivated workforce.

Make an impact
  • Provide first line support for line managers, staff and external contacts and to regularly meet line managers to discuss issues and support as and when required
  • Support managers in the recruitment of their staff advising on the most appropriate recruitment methods, manage the relationship with the talent acquisition team, agencies, web‑based recruitment providers and attending interviews where appropriate
  • Involvement with UK and regional strategic human resources improvement initiatives
  • Attend regular meetings with the UK senior management team
  • Ensure the performance management process is enforced and objectives are set for all employees
  • To keep appraised of changes to new working practices and changes in legislation and ensure where appropriate managers are briefed of these changes. Assist with updating policies and procedures as required
  • Work with marketing to promote employee welfare & wellbeing
  • Complete regional reports including fluctuation analysis, headcount analysis and vacancy reports
What you need to succeed
  • Previous human resource experience as a Human Resources Business Partner / Human Resources Manager or similar role
  • Human resource related qualifications / CIPD
  • Experience of managing the end to end recruitment process
  • Experience of performance management and annual salary review process
  • An industry background in engineering or technology companies would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong information technology skills including MS Office and HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors
  • Willing to travel occasionally to customer sites in the UK
