Senior Medicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician (37.5h)
Job summary
A healthcare trust in Stoke-on-Trent is looking for a full-time pharmacy technician to join their Pharmacy Medicines Optimisation Team. The successful candidate will be GPHC registered and adept at working with varied stakeholders. Responsibilities include ensuring effective use of medicines, providing counsel to patients, and contributing to digital innovations in pharmacy practice. The position offers a supportive environment with 37.5 working hours per week, providing an excellent work-life balance.
Qualifications
- Experience working with stakeholders and a track record for service development.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet service needs.
- Excellent communication skills for patient and carer counselling.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, effective use of medicines within the pharmacy team.
- Coordinate the Pharmacy led Medicines Reconciliation service.
- Participate in discharge planning and medication dispensing.
